The clear LCD display of this Type 2 to Schuko EV charging cable shows key charging data in real time, including current, voltage and charging time. Adjust the charging current (6/8/10/13/16A) to match your socket, and set a delayed charge from 1 to 12 hours to charge during off-peak tariff hours and cut your electricity costs.

COMPREHENSIVE COMPATIBILITY

It works with any electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid that has a Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) charging inlet. Examples include Tesla Model S/3/X/Y (European versions), VW ID.3/ID.4/ID.5, BMW i4/iX1, Škoda Enyaq and Fiat 500e. Please check your vehicle’s manual to confirm the charging port type before ordering.
European-market Teslas use the Type 2 inlet, so they are compatible. Vehicles from other markets that use NACS or CCS1 ports need a different cable or adapter, and this product does not fit them.
It has a Schuko (CEE 7/7) plug, which fits standard household sockets in Germany and most of continental Europe. It is not designed for CEE blue/red industrial sockets, UK Type G sockets or US NEMA sockets.
Yes, as long as the vehicle has a Type 2 AC charging inlet. PHEVs have smaller batteries and usually charge faster than pure EVs on this charger.
No installation is needed. Plug the Schuko end into a socket, connect the Type 2 end to your vehicle, and charging starts. Use the buttons to set current or delayed charging if needed.
Use a properly installed, undamaged grounded Schuko socket on its own circuit, ideally protected by a 30 mA residual current device (RCD / FI-Schutzschalter) and a suitable circuit breaker. If you are unsure about your wiring, ask a qualified electrician to check it. Household sockets are not designed for hours of continuous high load, especially in older buildings.
16A: only on a modern, well-maintained socket and circuit confirmed for continuous load. 13A or 10A: the safer choice for most household sockets, and recommended if you are unsure or the installation is older. 6A or 8A: for weak circuits, shared circuits or when other appliances are running. When in doubt, start at 10A and check that the plug and socket stay only slightly warm.
The IP65 rating means the unit is protected against dust and water jets. Even so, keep the plug connections and control box off the ground, away from standing water and puddles, and shielded from direct heavy rain where possible. Never submerge it. Do not connect or disconnect the plugs with wet hands.
